This 1993 Porsche pulls out 236 hp from a four-cylinder engine. There are only 1,743 in the world.
Only 1,743 copies of the 968 Clubsport were produced in total, some reaching the streets around the world
Launched on the market more than half a decade ago, in 2012, the third generation of Porsche Boxster has recently received a well-earned facelift.
The German company has kept aesthetic changes to a minimum, but has completely changed the range of available engines, with six-cylinder units completely disappearing from the landscape.
The current Boxster is not, however, the only Porsche in four pistons, with a central-powered sportscar taking a seat in Stuttgart’s history along with the old 968.
We will also discuss this issue with the mention that the car first registered in January 1993 in England is part of the special Clubsport series.
Offered in just 1,743 units, the old Porsche 968 CS captures a four-cylinder aspirated three-liter gasoline engine that produces a respectable 236 hp.
Assembled in the front of the two-door bodywork, the propeller works with a six-speed manual gearbox and … a rear-wheel drive system, obviously.
Even more interesting is the interior that, although it dropped the electric windows and other comforts for a pound of kilos, does not lack the phone.
In contrast, with regard to the exterior department, this Porsche 968 Clubsport premiered for the first time in 1993 promises to attract numerous looks through the abundance of yellow.
Regarding the German sports bill of over 280,000 kilometers on board, the sale is under auction, and so far only $ 10,000 has been offered.
