Porsche presents the 8th generation of the legendary 911. It looks very good with the old model.
The German car comes with major improvements in the interior. Porsche revealed in the preview of the Los Angeles Auto Show the eighth generation of the legendary 911.
Known inside the German company under the code name 992, the model revealed in the preview of the Los Angeles Auto Show borrows a good deal of the aesthetic features of the previous generation, namely 991.
Zuffenhausen’s designers chose to redesign the cabin from scratch, where they introduced some retro-style styling elements.
The Porsche 911 announces for the first time an eight-speed automatic and double-clutch box – replacing the famous PDK in seven-speed. The car will be available for sale along with a manual transmission that comes with seven reports.
The new 992 adopts exclusively six-cylinder engines, two turbines and a three-liter capacity that develops maximum power up to 450 hp, as is the case with the current Carrera S and Carrera 4S versions.
They only need 3.5 and 3.4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h when equipped with the Sport Chrono package – which the Zuffenhausen manufacturer offers optional.
Customers also have sports seats with electrical adjustment in 18 possible ways, night vision assistant (an absolute premiere for the German performance model), and a 10.9-inch central display.
