They pulled her out on the streets. This is how BMW’s most beautiful and luxurious convertible.
It could be presented before the Paris Motor Show.
Spy photos surprised the new BMW 8 Series Cabriolet and the best part is that the prototype was not covered with camouflage. From these pictures, the official presentation is very close and could take place just before the Paris Motor Show.
The Bavarian automaker has launched the new 8 Series in June this year, but for the first time customers can only opt for a coupe. The new BMW range will be available in both convertible and Gran Coupe, a sedan with coupe features.
The BMW 8 Series Cabriolet is due to start in the market in 2019, and for that, the Germans convertible must be officially launched in the coming months. This could happen faster than you think, judging by these spy photos.
On the technical side, the new BMW 8 Series Cabriolet will come with a 4.4-liter V8 propulsion, all-wheel drive and automatic transmission. The twin-turbo unit, present momentarily on the M850i Coupe, develops 530 horsepower and 750 Nm torque.
As we have mentioned both the 8 Series Coupe, it can be ordered in most markets, including Romania. In our country, the German model is only available in the 840d version with 320-horsepower diesel engine, all-wheel drive and automatic gearbox. It costs from 102,400 euros upwards.
In Germany, customers can also order the variant we mentioned above, the M850i xDrive Coupe, which starts at 125,700 euros.
