A former F1 champion puts on sale four-wheel jewelry. The price required on the hypercar with over 900 hp.
The car belongs to Jenson Button. The board indicates less than 1,000 kilometers run. The hybrid propulsion system develops over 900 horsepower.
This McLaren P1 is now looking for a new owner to enjoy the more than 900 horsepower available. The car has less than 1,000 kilometers run, and still belongs to (formerly) a former Formula 1 champion.
The legendary McLaren F1 remains the hottest and most exclusive car built by the British brand, but the P1 hypercar is not at a very long distance. Presented in 2012 at the Paris Motor Show, P1 was replicated in 375 copies for only 2 years.
The McLaren P1 is part of the so-called “Hybrid Tribute Hybrid”, alongside the Porsche 919 Spyder and Ferrari LaFerrari. The British model hides under the hood a twin-turbo V8 propulsion and an electric unit that develops together 903 horsepower, enough for an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds.
Among the lucky ones who were in the possession of a McLaren P1 were some motorcycle personalities such as Mika Hakkinen, Lewis Hamilton or former Formula 1 champion Jenson Button.
The car of these images still belongs to the latter. We say “yet” because Button wants to sell it, as he himself said on a social network: “I decided to sell my McLaren P1 for someone else to enjoy it. It’s a hard decision but now I live in America and I do not have the opportunity to lead this beauty. ”
This P1 is finished in Grauschwartz Gray exterior with Stealth and interior trim with leather upholstery and Alcantara made to order. The board features only 887 kilometers run and the optional equipment list includes, among others, forged wheels, ceramic carbon brakes, yellow contrasting stitching, Meridian audio system, front / rear parking sensors and a few outer carbon fiber elements.
The price demanded by the former Formula 1 world champion on this McLaren P1 is £ 1.6 million, or in other words, about 1.79 million euros.
