The new Hyundai Santa Fe is offered on the Romanian market with a single engine. This is the famous 2.2-liter diesel that Hyundai has been using for many years for all SUVs in the group. It’s an engine that has proven to be suitable for large models, requiring some more resources.

Hyundai Santa Fe has proven to be a multi-faceted car. Consumption depends seriously on the way you choose, but also on how fast you accelerate.
The 200-horsepower engine is stronger than the one in the Outlander, X-Trail and Kodiaq, but not as powerful as the new Ford Edge and Volkswagen Touareg.
When it comes to performance Hyundai Santa Fe leaves behind Kia Sorento. Sprint from 0 to 100 km / h is done in 9.4 seconds.

If you do not do well, Hyundai also has a four-room set with a 360 degree view. The quality of their image is not exceptional, but they do their job well.

This Santa Fe has a list price of about 53,000 euros. Price is in euros because we tested the car in Europe. Pretty pepper at first glance. Just that, for these money, you get 200 horsepower, an automatic box, full thrust and top luxury equipment.
Mitsubishi Outlander reaches over 35,000 euros but has weaker resources. A 177 hp Nissan X-Trail, CVT and 4×4, Tekna equipment, reaches 38,500 euros. Even the Peugeot 5008 looks like a good deal: just 35,200 for a 180 hp, six-speed automatic and GT equipment.
Even if it comes extremely well equipped, Santa Fe might scare some customers with his price.
It is then expected to get the maximum five-star rating. It is very clear that expectations set so high will be respected. It is enough to look at the mountain of safety systems that Santa Fe is equipped with.
I was very tough to watch the fatigue monitor. If the machine has a slightly irregular trajectory, something encountered on some roads where the bands narrow, the monitoring system recommends a coffee break. And he can do it at least 7 times on a 100-kilometer road.

For the cold season, I’ll start with the heated seats, including the rear seat and the heated steering wheel. On the opposite side is the seat ventilation function, which is very useful during summer.
Behind the wheel you will find a digital screen that is the place for board instruments. It is also completed with analog clocks. The screen is full of information and you need to be accommodated. Not the same for the 8-inch central screen that serves the multimedia system.

For the Hyundai models, the new Santa Fe comes with a Head-Up Display designed on the windshield. It has good brightness, pleasing colors and plenty of information available.
The Krell audio system sounds good and comes with a very nice set of speakers.
